The RBT® works under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) ® to provide applied behavior analysis therapy. The RBT®  is a trained professional who works directly with individuals to help them learn important life skills around communication and social behaviors. 

Individuals pursuing the RBT® credential must complete 4 Steps, which are: 1) pass a criminal background and home health aide registry check; 2)complete a 40 hour course that covers all requirements outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board ® ; 3) pass a competency assessment, and: 4) pass the RBT exam. 

Ready, Set, Tech fulfills step 2 by providing the 40 hour course material in person.

Each cohort has a different schedule and will meet days, evenings or weekends. Each schedule allows time for larger and smaller breaks. 

Students must attend each session and be on time. Students can not arrive late or leave early. Failure to attend all 40 hours of this training will result in the student not receiving the 40 hour certificate in compliance with the BACB policy. 

This class satisfies the requirements of completing the 40 hour RBT Course. To become a Registered Behavior Technician, individuals must also 1) pass a background check, 2) pass a home health aide registry check, 3) pass the RBT Competency assessment with an approved assessor, and 4) pass the RBT Exam

Students may receive a 50% refund if cancellation occurs within 14 days of the start of the class. Refund requests that are 13 days or less from the start of the class will not be given. Students will have the option to transfer to another cohort if the request is made 14 days or more in advance. Transfers to another cohort is based on availability.

Classes are held in person on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Our address is 8650 Commerce Park Place, Suite D, Indianapolis, IN 46268.. 

Courses cost $200 per person. The entire fee must be paid before the course starts. No refunds are issued after the course has started.
